Condolences
I came to Calgary in October 1989 as a visiting student from China. Shortly after I came to UofC, I joined Tina’s ESL courses to improve my English, then moved on to Albert’s TOEFL training courses as well. Not very long after we first met, Tina and Albert invited us to their home for meals, and bible studies. The very 1st bible verse she recommended me to memorize was John 3:16. Years later, I accepted Jesus as my personal savior, and I knew Tina and Albert prayed for my salvation.
I will always remember her smiles, gentleness and kindness to us. Tina and Albert came to my MSc graduation ceremony as my family members, since none of my relatives was able to join with me far from China. Tina and Albert are important Christians in my faith journey, I thank Jesus for letting me know both Tina and Albert personally. They were my friends, and my spiritual mentors. Her love to share the gospel to international students will be cherished by many of us.

Hi blessed friends, Rhonda & Richard (Bre n' Matt) - (and of course extended families)
Strong and courageous, gentle and loving, great hugs and a smile to make you melt...that's how I'll remember your beloved Tina -- a great mom and grandma. We giggled and wept during our time in Calgary when we together. She bought my mom's dishes at my garage sale and I loved that Tina now had them. She's with my mom in heaven now and I know we all can't wait to be with them. One day we will and all because of The Great God of Love who paid our ransom, bought us with a price we couldn't pay, forgave All our sins, and will be waiting for us with His open arms, joining us with His beloved Family - many of them our own. Hugs to you and precious hope for our own eternal journey. Sorry we can't be with you to celebrate this wonderful lady, but our prayers will help carry you through all and in the days ahead. Lovingly - Carolyn & Mike Corbett
My name is Yan Liu and I came to Calgary in 1992 from China as an immigrant. Tina and Albert took my husband and I to their home for ESL and Bible study every week. They have been true believers of Christ and helped us physically and spiritually. Tina always smile and kind to all us. Oversea students often came to her home for meals and singing hymns. They were in all milestones of our lives. In 1997 I was baptized as a Christian - an answer of her prayer. Tina is the most important person in my life. She led me to Christ and she shines like a saint. We love you Tina.
Sometimes our merciful loving Lord sends special people into our lives, and Albert and Tina were two of them. They welcomed us a new church members to Abundant Life in Calgary, and I soon found gentle Tina, strong in the Lord, and an extraordinary intercessor as my friend. We continued in a long distance phone relationship, praying for our country, families and our faith in Jesus. I believe that God will continue working on her prayer lists for many years to come. Be comforted in the Lord family.
Our love and deepest sympathy to Alan & Kim, Rhonda & Richard, Glenn & Heather, and your families. We have many happy memories of Aunty Tina through our years. As you take time to remember, rejoice and mourn may the Lord encourage you and remind you of the blessed hope that has now been fulfilled in your mother’s life. We deeply regret not being able to join you for the service. Be assured of our prayers. Love Robert & Ruth Erion, Surrey BC
Such a gentle soul....prayer warrior extraordinare....and a feisty one at that...calling evil what it was. We knew she was a Christian by her love. It had no boundaries. God has answered the cries of her heart and welcomed her home. While we will miss dear Tina she has left us all with so much to remember her by. I still cherish each prayer she ever prayed on our behalf, and the memory of being able to curl up beside her on the bed to pray with her and watch David Jeremiah. Sometimes simple things leave big impressions...the time we got to spend with her was precious. Thank you for bringing her to our neighborhood so we could fall in love with her. Looking forward to our Heavenly reunion with her. Bless you as you go forward in the peace which passes all understanding. And cherish the joy she left you with.
Love Melody and Scott Campbell
My clear memory of Tina is that she is smiling and engaging her listener in the warmest possible way. I very clearly recall the wedding of Albert and Tina in the Coaldale MB church where the motto 'So send I you' was prominently displayed, as they left for their missions assignment in Somalia shortly after their marriage. Mark Twain said that 'Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be', and Tina decided early in her life to choose happiness despite the vicissitudes she encountered. She spread an aura of joy wherever she went, and her life added to the goodness in the universe. It was a privilege to have her as an aunt
To Tina Erion's, family and friends.
My sincere condolences to your family. May Jehovah God provide the comfort needed to your family and friends during this difficult time.
We're so sorry for your loss. Please know that Jehovah God says there will be a resurrection for both the righteous and the unrighteous. Acts 24:15.
Also, Jehovah said "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4.
