Obituary of Cameron Lory Lee Wedman

Cameron, beloved son of Asa and Seanne Wedman, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the age of thirteen at his home in Calgary. He was born on January 10, 2011, in Edmonton.

Cameron attended Emily Follensbee School and recently graduated grade seven. Cameron enjoyed spending his time swimming, walking with his family, going on road trips, taking baths, and watching SpongeBob SquarePants and Sesame Street with his sisters. He achieved the amazing feat of swimming 25 km in the pool at Emily Follensbee School.

His most memorable vacation was his Make-A-Wish trip to Maui, where he enjoyed lounging in the pool, dipping his feet in the ocean, playing in the sand, and spending quality time with his mom, dad, and sisters.

Cameron will always be remembered for his captivating, infectious smile and the joy he brought to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Asa (Lynn) and Seanne; his sisters, Olivia and Addison; grandparents, Charlene and Lory and Gary and Jeanette; aunt and uncle, Shannon and Aaron; and his cousins, Charles, Isabella, and Juliette.

Rest in peace, Cameron. You will be forever loved, always in our hearts.

A Celebration of Cameron’s Life will be held at Okotoks United Church (43 Riverside Dr. Okotoks, AB) on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.
