Obituary of Dale Edward Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Wilson. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and son, who passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 62 years.
Dale was born to Barbara and George Wilson in Lethbridge, AB, on November 25, 1961. He graduated from high school in his hometown and went on to pursue a career as a rebar fabricator. Dale was a proud member of his local stock car racing community and enjoyed restoring vintage vehicles, camping, and attending wrestling events.
His pride and joy was his 1949 Chevrolet truck, which he painstakingly restored and showed off at various car shows. He also had a passion for pick n' pull adventures and was always on the lookout for the perfect part. One of his most memorable vacations was a Make-a-Wish trip to Vancouver, BC, with his daughter Melissa.
Dale leaves behind his beloved wife Dawn, and their daughter Kaitlyn. He was also a loving brother to Ken (Tina), George (Mary), Barbara (Walter), Sandy, Marie, Brenda, and Donna. He will be dearly missed by his cat Sakura, who was his constant companion.
Dale was predeceased by his two children, Melissa and Brianna, his father George Wilson, his brother George Wilson, and his sisters, Brenda and Donna. He was also predeceased by his beloved Pomeranian, Abby.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and support staff who cared for Dale. They would also like to thank the Calgary EMS, Police, and Medical Examiner for their professionalism and kindness.

He will be most remembered for his unwavering love for his family. Rest in peace, Dale. You will be dearly missed.
There will be no services held for Dale. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered in a place that he loved.
