Obituary of Dr. Bella Lynn Eagletail

Dr. Bella Eagletail, beloved wife of Alan Little Moustache of Tsuut’ina Nation, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2024, with her family by her side at the age of 61 years.

Bella was devoted to higher learning for her people for the past three decades and was also her children's and grandchildren's biggest sports fan, especially hockey and rodeo. Her legacy will be remembered as a devoted educator for over three decades. Bella was a passionate educator and an Elder on Tsuut’ina Nation. She touched everyone’s soul.

Bella is survived by her daughter and two sons, Simone (Mason former son-in-law), Levon (Jeanette), and Kobe (Jesselle); eight brothers and four sisters, Aaron (Bernie), Hal (Aimee), Ivan (Luisa), Kyle (Vanessa), Lenny (Tanya), Corrine (Jerry), Kenny (Sonya), Michael, Kurt, Marilee, Claire Large, and Terry Gray Eyes; numerous grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bella was predeceased by her parents, Eliza and Fred; her sister Joanne (Brennen), brothers, Glen and Randy; and sister Darlene.

Wake Services will be held at Bella and Alan’s residence (655 – 146^th Avenue, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 2:30 p.m.

A Celebration of Bella's Life will be held at the Bullhead Community Hall (114 Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Reception to immediately follow the graveside service at the Bullhead Hall.
