Condolences
I am so sorry to have just heard about Neill’s passing. My heart goes out to the family all. It was such a pleasure to see you my old friend when we came and delivered your new AGA cooker and to spend some time chatting. Having a whisky together was a great treat. I will share a toast to you tonight, Slagngi vaugh old friend till we see you again. Bruce J.
My heartfelt condolences to the family and to Chandra who I know directly.
I had the pleasure of working with Neil on a TV series called "Dead Man's Gun" back in the late 1990's and early 2000.
Neil was a consummate pro back then and I am sure, he remained so over the years.
I am sure he will be sorely missed by the film and tv community given the vast contribution he made.
Farewell Neill!
We would only work together every ten years or so, but I always looked forward to the next. Such a talented, pleasant, clever one to be around.
My condolences to all the family.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our dear Neill. He was truly a remarkable person. I know his career was marked by a series of successes that reflected his unique vision and dedication. But beyond his professional achievements, he was a kind and caring soul, always ready with a joke and a beer. His love for his family, especially his wife, was evident in everything he did. Neill's legacy is not only in the films he left behind but in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Maja
Neill will remain one of the favourite directors I've worked with, and I will remember him so fondly. We met on Season 1 of When Calls the Heart and worked together all the way to Season 10. He was an actors' director through and through. I remember during the second season, Neill came up to me to see if I wanted to do another take. He was so reassuring that my first take was wonderful, but then supported me in trying again to see what else I could come up with. He directed us in a way that always made us feel supported and seen. I will miss working with him greatly; however, I'm so honoured that I had the opportunity to create such beloved television with him. His work ethic and creative vision are things I will carry with me throughout my own career. He has left such a positive mark on so many.
My most sincere condolences to your whole family.
All my love,
Charlotte Hegele
