Jordan Leinen of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the age of 19 years.

Jordan was born in Calgary, AB, on January 13, 2005. She graduated in 2024 from Bow Valley College with an Educational Assistant Certificate. Jordan worked for the City of Calgary where she was a staple for many years. She became a day camp volunteer and eventually an inspiring Recreational Leader and a Child Development Instructor.

Jordan loved to travel and spend time with her mom. She had a love for fashion and exuded style. Her love for the quote, “On Wednesdays we wear pink” perfectly captured her passionate lively presence.

Jordan will be most remembered for her infectious laugh and bubbly personality, which will be missed and remembered by everyone who knew her.

Jordan is survived by her parents Randi Wheeler and Jeffrey Leinen (Gina Leinen and her stepbrother Landyn); grandparents, Randy and Deborah Wheeler, and Jennifer and Kevin Leinen; Leslie and Shirley McLellan; great-grandmothers, Elizabeth Rose and Brenda Spratt (Jim Spratt); aunts Natasha Gothard (Kurtis and cousins Blayke and Logan), and Natalie Wheeler (cousin Brooklyn Wheeler-Scalise); uncle Darris Wilderman; aunt Kim McLellan (cousin Cayden Rollins) and cousin Dallas Rollins. Jordan is also survived by an extensive extended family in Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick, who all loved her dearly.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m.

Celebration of Jordan’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Miss Leinen’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
