It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Lee Cunningham (Hill) on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the age of 61 years. Linda was a cherished wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Linda was an accomplished Geological Technologist who, as a young mother, took on the challenge of working full-time while putting herself through school. Her determination and resilience were truly inspiring. She faced hardships head-on, never backing down.
Linda always gave the most thoughtful gifts, keeping an eye out for them all year long for those she loved. She had a deep love for animals, caring for many dogs throughout her life, including her current cherished companion, Diesel.
She was incredibly thoughtful, always thinking of others and offering advice whenever needed. She walked through life with a compassionate heart, always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Known for her outgoing and personable nature, Linda was a social butterfly who valued her friendships deeply.
Born in Calgary, Linda grew up with a spirit of generosity and a love for life that was evident in everything she did. She dedicated herself to her family and community, always putting others before herself.
Linda is survived by her loving husband David, her cherished children, Madison and Justin (Christina); her brother Dwayne, and her beloved dogs, Diesel, Cheslea, and Bear. Her radiant smile and compassionate heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB T2E 2V6) on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
