Obituary of Donna Marie Middlemiss

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Donna Middlemiss on Saturday, July 27, 2024, after a courageous but brief battle with illness.

Born in Calgary, Donna was proud of her Scottish heritage. After a short time at the Bank of Canada, Donna enrolled in a Professional Cooking program at SAIT, from which she graduated with honours. Donna then enjoyed a lengthy career in the food service industry, including a long-term position at Brava Bistro.

Donna is survived by her brothers, Peter, Raymod, John, and Don; and sisters, Shirley, Fran, and Pat. She is also survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Howard Smith.

Donna was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at Bonasera Pizza Restaurant (1204 Edmonton Trail, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
