My sincere condolences to the Lidgren family on the loss of Bob - I met him in the early 70s at Pogues Athletic club, I was a teen kid towel washer, Bob took the time to draw up a weight program for me, the basics of which I still follow today. He was always open to questions about training, diet, riding motorcycles, or anything else. His friendly demeanor, work ethic, and professional bearing were examples to us younger guys, we admired him. A wonderful man.
