Obituary of Steve Zabawski

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - Calgary, Alberta

Stephen “Steve” Anthony Leonard Zabawski of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly and peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the age of 74 years.

Steve was born in Saskatoon, SK, in 1949. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in commerce, he moved to Calgary, where he articled and received his Chartered Accounting designation in 1975. Steve enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a partner at Heater & Co., Chartered Accountants.

Steve was an avid traveller and cyclist during his retirement years.

He will be interred at Mountain View Cemetery with his late wife, Lana. A Celebration of Steve’s Life is planned for the spring of 2025 in Calgary, with the time and place to be announced.
