Obituary of Roberta May NICHOL

May 16, 1941 – Welby, SK July 31, 2014 – Calgary, AB Roberta Nichol, beloved wife of Roy Nichol of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Roberta enjoyed going to Grey Eagle Casino, doing crosswords, watching her favorite shows, participating in doing crafts and giving to family. She was a faithful attendee of Grace Presbyterian Church. Roberta loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Besides her loving husband Roy, Roberta is survived by daughter Wendy Walker; son George Fleet (Ilona); grandchildren, Christian, Shauna, Jason, Jeremy, Krista, Dwayne, Lanaea, Reina, Cheyenne, Katherine, and Paul; and great-grandchildren, Bryan, Karlie, Victoria, Nathan, Elizabeth, Alexys, Emma, and Alexander. She is also survived by her sisters, Frances (Joe) Thibodeau and Faye Mondor as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends Kelly Stright, Jorge, Reina and Vanessa Aguilar. Roberta was predeceased by her daughter Gail Repp; granddaughter Alyssa Repp; brothers, Bobby Mallard and Ken Dejarlais; and her parents Mary (Lona) Morin and Jean (B) Dejarlais. Memorial Services will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 – 15th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
