Davis Kerbrat of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the age of 32 years.

Born in Calgary, AB on September 16, 1991, Davis lived his entire life in the city he loved. He graduated from Lord Beaverbrook High School in 2009. As a young boy, Davis developed a passion for video games, basketball, and golf, spending countless hours enjoying these hobbies.

Mazatlán, Mexico, held a special place in Davis’ heart as his favourite vacation spot. The annual family trips to Mazatlán were filled with cherished memories of local tours, beach and pool time, zip lining, parasailing, Sea-Doo rides, and family dinners at local restaurants.

Davis was also known for his immense creativity which he expressed through his love for cooking, painting, playing guitar, and making music. His culinary creations were a true reflection of his artistic spirit. He took great joy in experimenting with ingredients and flavours to craft unique dishes. Davis was a self-taught guitarist who created melodies that reflected his one-of-a-kind personality. He even gave himself the stage name “Lowbra”, which stuck to this day.

Davis had a large family and is survived by many. He leaves behind his loving parents, Phil and Linda; his brother Mitchell, and sister Jenna, who reside in Calgary, AB. On his mother’s side, Davis is survived by his grandmother Mary Murphy, aunt Tina, and cousins, Taylor and Kelsey, who all live in Alberta. On his father’s side, he is survived by eight aunts, six uncles, and twenty-one cousins all of whom reside in British Columbia.

Davis will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His big heart, creativity, sense of humour and captivating smile will always be remembered.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Kerbrat’s service streamed live (link to come) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
