Obituary of Caren Ann Rose

November 8, 1945 - Sudbury, Ontario

August 10, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta

Caren Rose was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 78 years in Calgary, AB.

She cherished time with her family and friends; she loved to socialize. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who cherished every moment with her family. She endeavored to make everyone feel loved. She also deeply valued her friendships from near and far, and especially enjoyed a good dinner party.

Together with her husband Ken Rose, Caren had a fulfilling life raising their two sons, Kevin and Doug Rose, and their daughter, Barb Leonard. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, Caitlyn Leonard, Mason Rose, Sam Barnes, and Hannah Chorneyko, and one great-grandchild, Jack Chorneyko.

Caren's kindness and love extended beyond her family as she was known for her compassion for others.

Her gentle and loving ways, contagious smile, and "I Love You's" will forever be remembered.

Caren's memory will be treasured by all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.

A Celebration of Caren's Life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared with friends and family.
