Obituary of Barry Shawn Fry

Barry “Beardog” Shawn Fry, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 60 years.

Barry was born in St. John's, NL, on June 28, 1964, and was raised in Calgary, AB.

Barry graduated from SAIT with a Millwright certification.

He enjoyed spending time with friends at Crossroads Community Church. The family would like to thank all the church members, especially John Luider, for all the support and friendship they provided for Barry over the years.

His favourite activities included camping, going to concerts, watching movies, cooking, and watching cooking shows. He also loved muscle cars.

He will be most remembered for his friendly nature, kindness, and sense of humour.

Barry is survived by his father Richard Fry, brother Clayton Fry, sisters, Sherry Fry and Shelley Fry and her husband Barry; niece Haley, nephew Jesse and his wife Robyn; and great-nieces, Parker and Sidney; as well as numerous aunts, cousins, and friends.

Barry was predeceased by his mother Ruby Pearl Paulson and sister Karen Dale Fry.
