Obituary of Audrey May Clare

August 13^th, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Audrey, the beloved wife of the late Sidney Clare, passed away on Tuesday, August 13^th, 2024.

Audrey, a true lady in every sense, embodied grace and warmth. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, her strength of character shone through, with unwavering dedication for her family. She found solace in the simple beauty of blooms and bird songs as you could always find her enjoying her garden. Her heart, rich in compassion, found joy in giving back, as she was always considering ways to support community initiatives. To all who knew her, Audrey was a beacon of kindness, her presence gave a feeling of warmth in every life she touched.

Audrey is survived by her son Paul and his partner Carolyn. Her daughters Jacqueline and Deborah, and Deborah’s children Caitlyn and Jordan.

The family will be holding private memorials for their beloved Mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Audrey’s behalf to local bird sanctuaries.

In living memory of Audrey Clare, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes.
