Condolences
I was deeply saddened to learn of Bruce’s passing. Sending my condolences to his loving family.
Bruce was such a large influence in my life, mostly professionally, but his caring heart & joyful personality will always remain etched in my memory. There are so many subtle ways that he shows up in my communication style having worked for him through my very formative career years from age 25-41. I credit him with so much of my growth & professionalism and can hardly craft any response without hearing his words pop in my head.
He truly treated each employee as family & I will be forever grateful for the support and kindness that he (and Eveline) provided me; as well as, the honourable qualities that he instilled in me.
May the mark he left on each one of us continue to evoke his enthusiasm, lightheartedness, and sense of adventure.
Dear Chris,
My deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dad. His obituary was truly touching. Hoping you will find some comfort in the memories of your time together.

Eveline and Chris---- I heard from Tim of the passing of one of the finest people ever to grace the planet and as a fellow trout fisherman I send you and the family my thoughts and condolences as well as hopes for quiet pools with lurking browns awaiting a well-placed nymph.. Thinking of you... Doug Campbell
Bruce reeled us in and landed us in his friendship net years back when he kayaked the Salmon River in Idaho with his son Chris's family
Instantly, he became a dear friend who humbly shared his wealth of knowledge in all things great and small.
Oh how will miss Janet's letters to share that "Bruce will be on our next trip down the River of No Return!"
He shared his love of reading with us and recommended the next great book to add to our backcountry library shelves.
Fully immersed in every endeavor, he was one with nature, present for every miracle, always seeing the best that Mother Earth provided to inspire awe and gratitude to "those who see".
His witty humor! Bruce was the sort of person that made your cheeks hurt for all the smiles and laughter shared.
We felt so lucky to have shared blips of time with Bruce; wanting for more of them, but savoring all the meaningful encounters till the next time we'd be sharing river-wet hugs.
Our hearts go out to his bride Eveline, and all the family and friends who were lucky enough to share space and time with such a man.
Grief is surely Love's souvenir.
And Bruce will remain a treasured keepsake.
Our deepest sympathies,
Sue and Greg
