Obituary of Peter Duncan MERRYFIELD

July 17, 1956 – July 28, 2014 Peter Merryfield, beloved ex-husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend passed away at the South Health Campus, Calgary on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the age of 58 years. Peter was born in New Westminster, BC and moved with family to Calgary in his early teens. He spent his career in the safety industry with MSA and Kost Fire Safety. Peter was predeceased by his mother, Charlotte Ann (Shirley) and will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Layne, his ex-wife and best friend Teresa, his brothers Rick (Deirdre) and Bruce, his father Jack, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. D.G. Bebb and Oncology staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, as well as the staff of the South Health Campus, Unit 58 for their extraordinary care and compassion during his final journey.
