Condolences
I still remember the day that Garry married my sister. That was over 60+ years ago. They had three children, three grandchildren and two great grandkids. Garry loved his family and in turn was welcomed to his extended family of sisters and brother in laws. Prior dating his wife he had charmed our mother often helping her exit the transit bus with her packages.
He enjoyed fishing, travelling, several cruises the last time with his three children to Alaska. And of course there was weekly coffee with “the boys”. He enjoyed nothing better then spending time with of his family.
Garry remained by my sister’s side as her physical and mental health declined never wavering in his devotion to her.
And he was blessed by the ongoing support and care that his children surrounded him with till he passed quietly from this world.
I had the great pleasure working with Garry at Greyhound. He was a warm friendly guy who had a special way to always make you laugh. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to the family.
I have such fond memories of Gary from the old depot on 7th Ave. My condolences to his family.
Rest in peace Garry.
A great guy to work with.

I drove alongside you a bit, over the years, but mostly I remember dispatching you. Always with a smile and laid back attitude, you stood out to me as an easy going friendly guy…..a pleasure to work with, you always seemed to genuinely enjoy your work.
A great guy to work with lots of laughs express my Condolences to his family. . R.I.P. Foot ☘️
I met a retired Greyhound driver at an RV park in Southern California. He knew your dad in Alberta, and referred to him as 'Foot'. I so enjoyed interacting with your dad and have so many good memories: at Gordie's and Dorothy's place (especially reading Far Side cartoons together); and on the ski slopes at Sunshine. What a wonderful person!
