Obituary of Andre Achille Rene Desjardins

January 11, 1957 – St. Jerome, Quebec

August 21, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Andre Achille Rene Desjardins, of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the age of 67 years, after his battle with lung cancer.

He was born on January 11, 1957, and raised in St-Jerome, QC, for most of his life, where he worked in renovation and construction with his father, Achille. Afterward, he worked as an aviation technician for some time, and after, he came back to his passion for construction.

At the same time, he owned a campground in Quebec for five years before leaving Quebec to go to Western Canada.  

Since 2009, he has been an Albertan resident, following his passion as a hard worker in construction.

Sadly, he leaves behind his mother, his brother, sisters, their kids, and grandkids; as well as his ex-wives.

Andre really loved to go fishing over the sea with his son Sam. He also loved to explore the world; he travelled all over different countries in the past five years. One of his other passions was to ride his motorbike all over Alberta.

His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family and friends.
