Eleanor May “Dolly” Kleyh (nee Chambers) of Cochrane, AB, passed away at Cedars Villa, in Calgary, on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the age of 95 years.
Dolly spent most of her married life as a homemaker, cherishing time at her beloved cottage at Lester Beach. She loved to travel, visiting Mexico, Cuba, and Hawaii, and also enjoyed trips with her sister Shirley to Nashville and Palm Springs
An awesome, self-taught knitter and crocheter, Dolly gifted many sweaters, afghans, and dolls to her family. These have been cherished and will continue to be loved by everyone.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and helped her children whenever needed. Mom, we will miss you and cherish all our memories, and all your love and support over the years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jim (Joan), Penny (Ken), Randy (Bonnie), and Rob (Carol); her grandchildren, Michele, Craig (Candace), Damon (Paz), Melany (Jason), Ryan (Anna), Nik, Jenna (Lance), Kayla (Dustin), Lindsay (Garrett), and Jordan (Raegan); and great-grandchildren, Keenan, Phoinix, Trinity, Jonah, Nate, Bennett, Sapphira, Grace, Sawyer, Gillian, Leo, Bentley, Piper, Joaquin, Matias, Oakley, and Maddox.
