Condolences to Paula and family on the passing of Doug. I had the privilege of working with Doug as one of our supplier contacts since 1987. He was always helpful, supportive and knowledgeable, in addition to having a keen sense of humour. He will be greatly missed
Douglas was a sly sarcastic friend..Still remember the night we played cards at Doug'sparents home in Applewood..late 1970s ..Doug could bluff better then any of us...that particular night in May.. the Leafs where playing the Habs in the playoffs...Cam Friggen Conners scored in OT to end the Leaf season and Doug fleeced all of us at the card table......Last time I saw Doug was at Aldo's wedding to Deb..Sat with him and he regaled is with stories and sarcasm....He was the only fan to come out and watch our ball hockey team win four straight championships...Doug and Freddie Moore where best of friends ..so Doug loved watching Freddy score goal after goal .. Will Miss you Doug !!..Crit

I am saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Doug and I were classmates at Dixie Public School for at least one year and maybe two, and then on to Tomken Road Senior Public and finally in Gr. 9 at Applewood Heights S. S.(for me). I remember Doug as a very classy quiet kinda guy in school with a sharp sense of humor and solid best friend to many. I send my condolences to the entire Inglis family at this most difficult of times. RIP DOUG. GOD BLESS
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Doug and send my heartfelt condolences to you all, he will be sorely missed. I first met Doug in 1979 when I joined United Electric Controls (Canada). He was an happy, go lucky, prankster and all around a gentleman and a great guy. I am truly sorry for your loss. Sending love and hugs.

I was shocked to hear the sad news of Doug’s passing. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of a fantastic man. He was the funny condo board guy next door at our work place. Was always happy to help and quick with a joke or a story that would catch you at the end. I will miss him.
From my first day in Drafting class in 1972 at Applewood Heights, I considered Doug Inglis one of my closest and dearest friends! We were basically inseparable and we did everything together. He was a force of nature and I would be constant in stitches with his many antics! He was the King of Practical Jokes and unfortunately I was the recipient many times - but that was never a problem - it was Doug's way of showing how much he cared! Even though Doug moved out West in 1984 our families remained close and we had many visits and vacations togeth...we had a very nice vacations in Scottsdale just last year and thats where we could notice his heart problems were taking a toll. But this was Doug...he was indestructible! So when Evan called on Monday with this sad news...a huge piece of my heart was torn away! I still can't believe he is gone! I'm sure his family can't believe it either- the fact I won't get to hear his favorite stories again is unbelievable! Doug I will miss you so much but your family will miss you more and it's a shame your 3 lovely Grandkids won't hear his laugh any more.
Deepest Sympathies from the Staff & Family of Barber Engineering //Centrix Control Solutions working with Doug was always great. Seeing Doug & Family at our Annual Christmas Parties back in the day was always a good time. God Speed
I am saddened to hear of Doug’s passing. I know we haven’t connected for many years, but I remember fondly our times at your family home in Mississauga. Doug always entertained us! And I still remember my first motorcycle ride with him. Many happy times together. Hugs to the Inglis family from the Pullen family.
