Condolences
I am so shocked and sorry to see Doug's obituary. I have many wonderful memories of my time working for him and the special cheesecakes he shared with us. My condolences to all Doug's family and friends. I have thought of him often over the years.
Doug was a great guy to be with on our golf trips. He loved to golf, cook and drink good wine. Perfect company! He had a terrific sense of humour and style! Doug, I hope you get to wear your Plus4's and your Tam on the great golf course in the sky. Cathy and I send our condolences to those who have lost a lot more than a good friend, Sorry we can't be there to share your farewell

Our sincere condolences to the family. Our fondest memory of Douglas was when he came to visit Barb and her family a few years back. She invited Keith and I to come meet her Dad. He made the most delicious beef brisket and warm potato salad!! We’ve made his recipe several times since. I also got a ride in his convertible that night! What a fun memory. He also joined Barb and came to our Halloween party dressed as Mr. Monopoly! What a great sport!! Although we didn’t know him long, he made quite the impression and he will be missed. Tara & Keith Zalischuk.
Heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost a dear family member. Doug will be remembered as a kind patient man who would go out of his way to help others. He will be sorely missed. Malcolm T
