Obituary of Elsie Timoffee

December 3, 1931 – West Bend, Saskatchewan

September 2, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Elsie Timoffee (nee Kereluk) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the age of 92 years.

She was born in West Bend, SK, on December 3, 1931. Her family moved to Sheho, SK, where she met her husband and married in 1953. They would farm until they moved to Calgary, AB, in 1968.

Elsie enjoyed sports such as softball and curling and had a love for golfing. Many of her hours were spent camping and fishing with her family and friends.

Elsie is survived by her son Terry (Carol), her grandchildren, Cody and Trevor; her sister Oryshia, and brother Orest, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Tony, her parents, Theodore and Mary Kereluk; her brothers, Ole, Kornel (Curly), and Wasyl (Bill); and her daughter Connie.

A Celebration of Elsie’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
