Obituary of Laszlo Karasz

Laszlo Karasz of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the age of 87 years.

As we mourn the loss of Laszlo, we also celebrate the impact he has made on our lives and the world around him. We extend our deepest sympathies to all those who are grieving his loss. Laszlo, you will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on forever.

Laszlo was blessed to have a remarkable family that he was proud of. Left to cherish his memory are his five children, Lisa, Brad (Fiona), Danny, Jessica (Willie), and Rebecca (Chris); his six beloved grandchildren, Katja, Stefan, Lachlan, Mackenzie, Atticus, and Asher; his great-grandson Otis, as well as numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

He will be especially missed by his constant companion these last few years; his puppy, Magoo. Our one consolation in this time of loss is that Laszlo is now reunited with his beloved wife Linda in his eternal rest.

A Celebration of Laszlo’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek Hospitality Centre, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
