Condolences
To Pastor Bowen and family, we just heard today of Trudy’s passing so we wanted to send our deepest sympathy to all of you !
Your friends from Shaunavon, Bryan and MaryAnn Knoblauch and Verne and Marlene Mellor
God be with Ed and the family. Trudy was an important part of Ed's ministry in Czar and the surrounding area. Her smile reflected the joy in her heart. May you draw strength from the faith which sustained her throughout her life.
I will always remember Mrs. Bowen as my Home Economics teacher at Shaunavon High School. She inspired in me a love of sewing that I continue to enjoy to the fullest. She was a beautiful seamstress and taught me skills I still use - never take short cuts, always and I mean always press each and every seam as you sew, the importance of finding the straight grain of the fabric and so on. Skills that I stress to those I have taught classes to as well. I was very blessed to have learned from the best.
My deepest condolences to you and your families. May your memories bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead.

To the family and close friends of Trudy, our sincerest condolences on her passing. We have lost a good friend and kindred soul whose knowledge, companionship and compassion cannot be replaced. Through the years, our time spent with her at the Church library, the dinners in international restaurants, afternoon coffees in the backyard; all were so special.
As we are currently traveling, we will be unable to make it back and are very sad to miss the memorial service. Our prayers will be with Pastor Ed and the family during this time.

If it were possible for either or both of my parents to attend Trudy’s memorial in person, I know they would be there in a heartbeat. As would I. What a life to celebrate! And to grieve.
I rarely heard my parents refer to “Ed” or “Trudy” Bowen. It was almost always “Ed’nTrudy”. One name. I am grateful for her place in their lives, their histories, and thus in mine too. My prayers and condolences to Ed and the Bowen family and friends as they mourn her passing.
Trudy was such a treasure to me as a pastor. Her sharp wit had us chuckling many times. My prayers for Ed and the family in the coming weeks and months as we mourn her loss and find comfort in the promise of the resurrection.
I have many precious memories of Mom Bowen. I remember a hug when I really needed it, words of encouragement on a home economics test or for my sewing efforts, making us sticky pulling taffy, an awesome opportunity to travel to California (even if we could only play Queen music once a day in the car!), a beautiful breakfast when we visited in Calgary, seeing her joy in meeting my young children, a phone call with such kind words when my own mom passed.
In Ukrainian catholic funerals the family passes by the coffin at the end of the service. Traditionally we say “I will see you again” as we look forward to meeting again in heaven. Mom B I will see you again.
With much love and sympathy, Melanie. Dave Cory Jenna and jade
Our deepest condolences to Pastor Ed and the entire Bowen family. Trudy was an amazing lady and we will miss our conversations and catch ups in the car on the way to church Sunday morning. Trudy always had a smile and welcoming hello and never complained no matter how she felt. We are sorry we are away and will miss her service but will continue to keep Pastor Ed and family in our prayers. May you find peace and comfort in God’s grace and in sharing your many memories with family and friends. Rest in peace Trudy.
