Obituary of Concepcion Vidal

Concepcion “Concha” Vidal (nee Gonzalez Rodriguez), beloved wife of Manuel, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the age of 71 years.

Concepcion was born in Anguela, Ourense, Spain, on November 17, 1952. She emigrated from Spain and moved to Calgary, AB. Concepcion married Manuel. She will be most remembered for her boisterous personality and love for her family and friends.

Besides her loving husband Manuel, Concepcion is survived by her son, Robert and Danielle Vidal, of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren, Delena Vidal, Joseph Lenos, Vincent Vidal, Liliana Vidal, and Aris Vidal, all of Calgary, AB.

Concepcion is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Manuel and Fatima Gonzalez, of Epernay, France; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Concepcion was predeceased by her parents, Agustin and Corona Gonzalez; son Emilio Jose Vidal, grandchild Tyrese Vidal, and sister Dolores Gonzalez.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
