Joe made a lasting impression. Our friendship goes back to Bridgeland, kindergarten or grade one. He was friendly and outgoing. In grade three I moved to another school, and Joe and I reconnected in high school. I have a lot of memories from those years with most I can’t share here. Joe always seemed to have a maturity of knowing things that were beyond our years, and I know he watched my back at times that I didn’t know I needed it. We had a memorable road trip to Kelowna close to 35 years ago when I was looking to make a move, and Joe just started in real estate. I haven’t seen him in many years, but I still think of him often.
I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing, my deepest sympathy goes out to all of his family during your time of grief.
