Condolences
Dear Dianne and Joe Jr.
I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I never worked directly for Joe at Amoco but in our interactions Joe always had a kind word and he had a sence of humour.
Over the years a group of us would go for lunch and I always enjoyed listening to his stories about the Amoco days.
Condolences.
Sincerely
David Hall
Diane and Family, we were so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe had a wonderful sense of humour, great conversationalist and fun to be around. We were lucky to have met you both at Las Olas in San Jose Del Cabo. How you both loved wintering in Mexico. We shared good dinners and stories. Our deepest sympathies.

Diane and Family:
Joe and I were never in the same place at the same time with Amoco. However, as a part of the NGL groups at Amoco Canada and Amoco US we sure had a lot of interaction. It is so easy for me to picture his smiling face and his laugh. I have a ton of respect and affection for him. No doubt heaven is a better place because Joe is shaking hands and patting backs, with a smile on his face and a small cigar in his mouth. May God Bless You and comfort you in your loss.
Dear Diane and Joe Jr. I was saddened to hear about Joe's passing. Wishing you peace and comfort during this time, regards Herb Hamilton
Dear Diane and Joe Jr. - Our sympathy on losing such a great partner and father. We fondly remember Calgary dinners and the occasional glass of Merlot sitting on your terrace and sharing tall tales while watching passing golfers. You were/are the best neighbours anyone could ever ask for and we enjoyed every moment in your company. MIss you both and saddened to see Sr. has left us. I will always remember Joe with his welcoming smile and relaxed approach to life. We are all lucky to have called him a friend and partner.

Dear Dianne and Joe Jr., My condolences to you and your family in your loss.
I have many great memories of time spent with you and Joe in Sarnia in the early 80's and seeing you again when you moved back to Calgary, and the wonderful parties you both put on in your home in Shawnee.
You are blessed to have had so many wonderful years together, he was a very caring person and had a great sense of humour.
Although it has been many years since I have seen you both, you have been often in my thoughts

Condolences for your loss of Joe.
Joe was well known and respected by those in the Natural Gas Liquids and Sulphur Marketing Industry. I owe him a ton of gratitude for taking me on as a new commercial recruit in his
Amoco Canada Sulphur Marketing Group.
He was an inspirational leader; a great mentor; skilled negotiator; and kind to all those who came in touch with him.
His smile and sense of humour will forever be remembered.
May you find comfort in knowing that he was such an inspiration to alot of people. Take care of yourselves and all the best in health.

Diane, Joe Jr. please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. The news devastated me. I’d known Joe for almost 60 years starting as roommates in the Pan American bunkhouse in Drayton Valley. We had experienced many good times. I’d always admired his optimism integrity and business acumen. His physical presence is gone but the memories we shared will be eternal. Rest in peace my friend. My heartfelt condolences to Dianne and Joe Jr. on the passing of a wonderful man. Joe was a joy to be around and time spent in his company was time well spent. He will be missed but forever fondly remembered.
When I met Joe we were going to grade eight in Edmonton. Joe was wearing
lederhosen and I would say "what do youse guys want me to say" being
from Jersey City. We were the new guys in town. We attended St. Mary's High
and at that time were the only seniors with cars. When Joanne and I
married Joe was my best man. We stuck together and he was my "best man" to
the end. As Joe and Dianne were already living in Drayton Valley Joe
told me that Pan American were hiring and that I should apply. I did and
have never looked back. Joe and I were buddies for 73 years- one great guy.
Rest in Peace my friend.
Deepest sympathy to Dianne, Joseph and families.

So sad to hear this, my deepest condolences to you Dianne and the entire family. Great memories of the times we spent together during our days in Sarnia. My best to you during this difficult period.
We were deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was a person of integrity, compassion and caring, beyond reproach.
On many occasions upon meeting I would take out my lighter and offer to light his cigar stub, only to be rejected with a big smile of course. In those days initials were a big deal and everyone had them including HJH.
God speed HJH.
To Dianne, Jr and the Hegholz family please accept our prayers and condolences. We loved Joe, just as anyone who knew him did. Joe was great friend, mentor, father, and husband. He was a Legend in the Natural Gas Liquids business in North America and in Sulphur Internationally. To work with Joe was to enter an unmatched circle of knowledge and networking. Joe changed our lives for the better and his memory will help guide us all. I can see him now – smiling while driving his Mustang, top down, and cigar in place. Save a stool for us.
