Obituary of Mark Anthony Abayari Siron
March 11, 1974 - Camiling, Philippines
September 21, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Siron on Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, who left us at the age of 50 after a courageous four-and-a-half-year battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Mark was born in Tarlac, Philippines, and spent most of his life in Novaliches, QC. By destiny, he met his soulmate Grace, and they married in a civil ceremony in the Philippines in 1998. In 1999, they moved to Canada, where they celebrated their love with a church wedding. They built a beautiful life together for 26-years and welcomed a cherished daughter, Kayla, into their family.
Mark pursued his passion for mechanics and studied at the Action Training Foundation in Calgary. Afterwards, he dedicated 20 years to producing HVAC components at ECCO Supply, but his true joy came from fixing cars and helping friends. Known for his sense of humor, Mark had a gift for making people laugh and telling jokes that brightened even the darkest days. His laughter and lighthearted spirit will be deeply missed.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Mark found peace in fishing, camping, biking, and hiking. His culinary skills were unmatched; he took great pleasure in cooking and serving delicious meals for family and friends. Always the handyman, he could be counted on for any repair or project. Whether surrounded by loved ones or enjoying time alone, these activities genuinely brought him happiness.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to his care team for providing him with exceptional support and care.
