Peter was the best friend a person could have. I cherish the 60 plus years that he was in my life and all of the time we spent together. Pete's caring and sincere personality wrapped around one of the most fun and adventurous guys I know, made his company a true delight. I often referred to him as my better half and losing him has left a huge hole in my life. I will miss all that we looked forward to but will feel comfort in all that we shared. My love goes out to Laura, David and Chris & Danielle. Laner, I will hold your friendship close forever. Love Buck

It is difficult to get my head around the fact that such a vital and engaged man as Pete Lane was is no longer with us. That said he will live on in the memories of the so many of the people's lives he touched in business and in his personal life. I was fortunate to have met Pete when he was 14 and I was 21 ,,, a long time ago and a ton of history between then and now. The Severn years in the "70's, ski trips BBQs and moving on in business in the 80's Maturity and solidification in the 90's and 2010's and a little slowing down in the 2020's. I send my heartfelt thoughts and sympathies to Laura Chris and Dave and indeed to all of my friends in the Lane Clan...We will miss you Pete but rest in peace after a well lived life!
