I admired his lively energy, especially when we watched sports together. He loved hockey and his favorite snacks, especially peanuts. Bill often talked about his life and family in Lemberg, painting vivid pictures with his words. He was kind and felt like a father figure and grandfather to me. The memories we made together will always hold a special place in my heart.
