My condolences to Duane's family. We met Duane thru Fran, as I worked with her for many years. We had many great times going out after work on Saturdays with Duane and Fran, Richard and Carol and Jacques and myself, Anne. I laughed when the guys said it was too much driving to come in from Cochrane, but after the first time, they rarely missed one get together. As a group we also did Stage West. We enjoyed visits at The Property and bought 2 horses from him. We have lots of fond memories over the years. Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry I will not be with you tomorrow. Carol & I always remember the good times at Stage West.

My sympathy to the family. My in-laws, Angus and Jean Mackenzie lived down the hill. Often their little dog, Katie, would come and visit their dog Ringo and after a full day of visiting, Ringo would walk her back up the hill. I remember asking Duane what Katie would do after a visit to the farm and he replies that she would sleep in the living room. Fran, Duane and Katie were very good neighbors and will be remembered with a smile.
