Condolences
Dennis and I grew up in the small town of Clair, SK, and I can’t think of a better place to grow up!! Dennis was like the big brother I never had!! There were a few of us that were inseparable and did everything together!! Dennis even taught me how to dance, and looked out for me at parties!! He always had my back!! As we grew older, we lost touch and then met up again at my sisters funeral!! My deepest condolences to Lexie & family!!
I love you and miss you Dennis, rest in peace!!
Dennis was a kind, generous, thoughtful and inspiring man whom I had the privilege to know. As a proud SAIT grad, Dennis maintained his connection to his alma mater and influenced the PET program and articulation agreement with Montana Tech for the benefit of hundreds of students. The sparkle in his eye and the smile on his face when he spoke of his time at SAIT were endearing. He will be missed, and his memory will be cherished. His legacy will live on in the many things he accomplished and the many lives he impacted. A life well lived, indeed. Our deepest condolences to Lexie and the Chorney family.
So many memories of Uncle Dennis that will forever be cherished. He has been so much more than an Uncle to me since the passing of my dad. He has been my rock and one of my biggest supports navigating through mom’s health challenges. So grateful some of my closest friends were able to meet this special man and spend time with him in Vernon. He definitely made an impact with them all. A memory that will forever bring a smile to my face is when he showed up at Kylers hockey game in slippers!!
+We would like to express our sincere condolences to the Chorney Family. Dennis was a prince of a guy. We have many cherished memories of he and Lexie from over the years.
Dennis pioneered the ability of Canadian SAIT/NAIT students to continue their education and earn full four year Petroleum Engineering Degrees from Montana Tech. Through Dennis's continuing efforts many hundreds of Canadian students have been able and will continue to be able to advance their career opportunities through the program.
Dennis and I were from the same home town Clair, Sask., he was closer to my sister’s age but I still knew him well. The last time I saw Dennis and Alexis was at my sister’s funeral, I was so appreciative that they came. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this tough time.
Uncle Dennis was so much to so many. My favorite memories of him were spending time together at “the dock” growing up and when he visited our family in Switzerland. During his visit to Switzerland we shared many meaningful conversations over a glass of wine…I still remember vividly the things we talked about. Ryan and I loved listening to his stories and spending this quality time with him is something I will cherish forever. I will also never ever forget how Uncle Dennis and Auntie Lexie were there for me when my mom passed away. He was one of a kind and will be missed. I am grateful to have had him in my life.
Donna and I are sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. We got to know Dennis and Alexis many years ago as their son Matt met our son Tony when they were 4 years old in play school and they grew up together over the years. Dennis was a soft spoken and kind man. He was also an astute entrepreneur and businessman as well as a leader in the community. We would like to offer our condolences to Alexis and all of her family during this difficult time. Donna and Lorenzo
