Obituary of Edward William Peter Yohemas
May 4, 1938 – Edmonton, Alberta
October 17, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
Edward Yohemas, beloved husband of Dianne Anita Yohemas (nee Gaucher), of Calgary, AB, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 86.
Our family patriarch, also known as “Ed the Electrician”, will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Dianne, his children, Mariette (Gerald) Garcia, Corinne (Dan) Waldon, Melanie (Scott) Oberg, and Celene (Cory) Yohemas Ross; his seven grandchildren, Erin, Jasper, Jared, Kate, Zach, Caleb and Skye, who were the light of his life; his four brothers and five sisters, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anne Yohemas (nee Melnyk); his sister Margaret Standard (nee Yohemas), and an infant child.
Prayer Services will be held at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
