May thoroughly enjoyed every holiday, especially Halloween, a time when she would always dress in a costume.

May is survived by her mother Myrtle Calahaisn, her daughter Vanessa Crane, her son Peter (Marianne) Crane, her grandchildren,  Cassandra, Braiden, Liana, Paul, Gloria, Tessa, James, and Rhett; great-grandson Brennan, brothers and sisters, Walter Calahaisn, Frieda Dodginghorse, Yvonne Calahaisn, and Earla Calahaisn; her friends in recovery Alex Crowchild, Frances Jensen, and Audrey Pipestem; as well as numerous cousins and adopted children and grandchildren.

May was predeceased by her father Walter Calahaisn Sr., her brothers and sisters, Stewart, Sharon, Joanne, and Johnny, and her daughter, Rose Mullin.

The family would like to thank the Tsuut’ina Nation Homecare Team, Tsuut’ina Nation Elders Program, the Tsuut’ina Nation Mental Health Program, and the staff and friends at the Millrise Senior’s Village.
