Janice and I both want to express our condolences to Hazel and the rest of the family. We very much appreciated Orvel’s friendship, kindness, and joyful spirit. I especially value the times I spent with him as part of the missions committee for our church. We regret not being able to attend his funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Janice & Leland
We have a God who cares so very much for us in our time of need…
May you feel His presence during this difficult time.
Thy mercy, O LORD, held me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. Ps. 94:18,19
With Sympathy

As Chairman of the Crossworld board, I want to say that Orvel served faithfully, and with destinction, with us on our team, as a wonderful man of God. Brazil will have many people in Heaven as a result of the work done there by these 2 faithful Canadians. Orvel and Hazel continued, after retirement, to serve in Canada to encourage many young people to take up the challenge where they left off, and today many are serving in difficult, far off fields as a result. May God encourage you his family, in this time of his homegoing and please be assured his memory will live long, in the lives of many at Crossowrld ( UFM) J J D Smith
