I met and came to know Duff when we both attended Bishop Carroll High School. He was funny and kind, and a gentle soul. I am sorry to hear of his many struggles, and saddened that he passed away far too young. Heartfelt condolences to Duff’s family and friends - such a loss! Gabriella Frey (nee Sporeth)

I knew Duff as a man of inspired humour and impressive athleticism; all wrapped up in a charming inclination toward hopeful optimism. Along with Jean, Jean, Jan, Kacey and the rest of the family, you're in my thoughts, you most wonderful, one-of-a-kind "Duffy Dog."
All Love.
Joyful memories of my first nephew Duff ( Duffy) It was love at first sight. He was such a pleasant, fun little boy and remained a pleasant, fun man. He had so much love to. give, and gave it freely. As a boy he enjoyed going to the Midnight Monster nights at the Drive-In with his Uncle Hank and Uncle Jerry. And playing games at family dinners. Always a pleasure to spend time with Duff. He will be missed We love love you Duffy, Uncle Hank and Auntie Di
My most heartfelt condolences to all of Duffy's family and friends. I was blessed to have met Duffy at Foothills Hospital back in the spring/summer of 2023. He became my "smoking buddy" along with our friend Joe. Duffy reminded me of the importance of treating others with kindness and not to judge a book by the cover. I enjoyed listening to his off the wall jokes and stories. I appreciated him sharing with me about his recovery and the help of AA, I appreciated this because he reminded me about living life to the fullest one day at a time. I'll see you on the flip side old man.
Love always Patricia
