Candicia Kietha-Marie Thompson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the age of 26 years.

Candicia will be deeply missed by everyone who loved and knew her. She was a free spirit, a unique and sweet soul.

Candicia leaves behind her daughter, Nefi Dodo-Thompson; grandmother, Deborah Thompson; mother, Tanis Dueck (Herb Dueck); brothers, Matthew Thompson, Jesse Thompson, and Daniel Nikkel; as well as aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Predeceased by her great-grandmother, Bertha Thibert (Philip Thibert); grandfather, Peter Linklater; uncle, Faron Gustave Manychiefs Jr.; great-auntie, Crystal Lagimodiere; great-uncles, Daniel Thompson, Eugene Thompson, Bradley Thompson, and Timothy Lagimodiere; cousins, Olivia Manychiefs, Kellie Manychiefs, and Shane Thompson; waiting for her to be united again, at the light in the house of God.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
