We were so sorry to hear that Pal had passed away. She was a truly amazing person. I first met Pal when I was just 5 years old while stationed with my parents, Marj and Wes, in France.
As a youngster, I was always thrilled to be included in get togethers at Pal and Walter’s. For Pal it was always, “The more the merrier”. Whether it was a barbecue or a Grey Cup party, they were always so much fun to be around.Everyone loved being around the Wagner family.
Sending hugs and condolences to Valerie, Erle and families.

Dearest Auntie Pal, treasured times with you, Uncle Walter, Erle and Valerie are woven into lives from our earliest memory. The love between you and mom and your brother Jack was a bond of steel no matter the distance. As the years went on and the losses of dear ones and your own independence mounted, you only grew more amazing, and sweet and dear, coming through every trial determined to see the glass half full. We felt so lucky to spend time with you and be blessed by the love you emanated and surrounded us with at each and every visit. We will miss you so much but love to think of you being free from your body that served its wonderful time so you can dance and smile and laugh with so many that went before. Love Leanne Lynette and Leslie (Matthews)
Pal and I and Gerrit started attending Remembrance Day services a very long time ago. I’m trying to think which was our favorite. She knew almost all the old vets who spoke of their time in the war. She didn’t speak of her time but always of some of the others, she was a very humble woman, I loved her laugh and we did laugh lots.
Liana and Gerrit and I remember one time we had bought Nevada’s at the legion and Pal won 17 times in a row. We had a certain order for pull tickets, well she laughed and laughed. It was the most fun seeing her enjoyment at getting all these winners. She loved life and enjoyed herself wherever she was.
Will always remember her with a smile and feel so very glad she was part of our lives.
Gerrit and Marilyn
