Condolences
Okay my condolences to the family I have worked with Elaine for many years at the Westlock and District Food Bank and enjoyed her company immensely
From Helen Renaud
Mark, Eric and family
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I will always have fond memories of the times I spent with Elaine. She so willingly gave her thoughtfulness, patience, skills and time to her students and the Westlock community. I shared a Grade 3 classroom with Elaine in the 80's and worked with her for the many years she spent at the food bank. After an afternoon of busy activity there, we ladies would relax over coffee at MacDonalds or, on special occasions, at Elaine's home. We shared food bank news, gardening tips, book suggestions, and recent family events. Elaine often talked of "my boys" and it was clear how dear to her you both were. I do so miss these gatherings with a special friend. May you find comfort in memories of the happy times you shared with your mom and peace in knowing she is at rest, a life well lived. Vivian Oko
We, Elaine’s colleagues and friends over many years at Westlock Elementary School (école elemantaire de Westlock) hold her in our memories with the highest esteem and regard. Elaine was a true, caring and clear advocate for so much of the learning and people of our school community - and informed me with a perspective, purpose and example I so often needed. She truly modelled what it was to ”be a teacher”. David Baker
My favourite memory of Elaine was having tea with her and enjoying the gorgeous flowers in her yard. I admired her calm confident manner when we taught together. I am sending my condolences to you all.
Mark, Eric, and family,
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your mother.
Elaine was a wonderful person. I remember her as a remarkable neighbour, co-worker, and most importantly a long and cherished friend. She never drew attention to herself but always worked her magic in the background. I know you will miss her.
Death ends a life, not a relationship.
All the love your Mom created is still there.
All the memories are still there.
She will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched and nurtured while she was here.
Love's remembrance outlast all,
Marilyn Kuzyk
