Jan was a kind and loving person. She opened her heart to so many people. Her acts of kindness to even strangers was phenomenal. As a sister she was caring, loving, thoughtful, and could let he hair down and just have fun. Like the time Jan and I had gotten back from having coffee. We had a snowball fight laughing at each other and then she dropped into the snow and I followed suit we made snow angels. We didn’t care what people thought of what we were doing. She knew how to be a sister and a friend at the same time.
