Obituary of Sharon Marie Dyck

Sharon Dyck, beloved wife of Albert Dyck, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the age of 79 years.
Sharon was born in Calgary, AB, on October 10, 1945. Sharon married Albert in 1964, and they had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in July.
Sharon loved camping and spending time in the mountains. She and Albert lived in Banff for five years where she worked at the Banff Center. In the past few years, they moved to Osoyoos to enjoy lake country and the sunshine.
Sharon also loved to travel. Last year, she and Albert took a 60-day world cruise with stops in Hawaii and the French Polynesian Islands.
Sharon will be most remembered for her sense of humour, her brownies, Jell-O, word searches, and sleepovers with her grandkids.
Special thank you to the staff at the South Okanagan General Hospital where she spent her last few days.
Besides her loving husband Albert, Sharon is survived by her daughter Carla (Michael) Berezowski, and her sons Blair Dyck, and Mark (Ann) Dyck; all of Calgary, AB.
Sharon is also survived by her grandchildren, Alicia (Joel) Dyck of Strathmore, Justin (Chrissy) Davidson of Lethbridge, Aleksander Berezowski and Allison Berezowski of Springbank, Graham Dyck and Laura Dyck of Calgary; and one great-grandchild, Zoe Davidson of Lethbridge.
Sharon is also survived by her two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Bruce (Monica) Krenzel of Calgary, and Sidney (Alice) Krenzel of Cochrane; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents Ray and Mary Krenzel; as well as her brother Earl Krenzel.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Mark’s Church (5552 Madigan Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
