Obituary of Denise Simone Raymond

August 23, 1935 – Montreal, Quebec

November 8, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Denise Raymond (nee Brault) passed away peacefully and was received into the hands of our Heavenly Father at Father Lacombe Care Centre in Calgary, AB, on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the age of 89 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, Victor Raymond. She was the much loved mother of Carmen (Guy Tremblay), Jean-Marc (Terry Burton), and Daniel (Alexis Cook). She was the proud grandmother of Elyse, Robert, and Mark Tremblay; and Brianne, Joshua, Zachary, and Ty Raymond. She will also be missed by her brother, Ronald Brault (Christiane), and all her relatives and friends.

Denise was very proud of her family, and her caring devotion to them was shown in her generous nature and bright, loving spirit, which will be forever cherished. She lived her life with a love for all things beautiful—expressed through her artwork, intricate crafts, appreciation for classical music, and a smile that lit up the world around her.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
