Obituary of Nhila Kual

August 9, 1994 – Egypt

November 17, 2024 – Edmonton, Alberta

Nhial “Nhila” Kual Mawien peacefully passed away on Monday, November 17, 2024, at the Royal Alexander Hospital in Edmonton, AB, around 3:30 a.m.

Nhial was born in Egypt to Kual Mawien and Acol Tong on August 9, 1994. He has five surviving brothers and one late brother.

After starting school in Egypt, Nhial moved with his family to Calgary, AB, and graduated from Bishop O’Bryne High School.

Nhial was friendly, easygoing, and always very organized. He loved to play basketball and spend time hanging out with his peers.

May his soul rest in peace in Jesus' name. Amen.
