Obituary of Isabel Marie Cherban

Isabel Cherban (nee Labenovich) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at Skypointe Retirement Home on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the age of 91 years.

Isabel was born in Calgary, AB, on May 10, 1933. She resided in Calgary all of her life. Isabel was proud of her family and especially fond of her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed painting, making porcelain dolls and doing other intricate crafts.

Isabel spent her final years with her faithful furry companion, Cody whom she cherished.

Isabel was predeceased by her husband Zenan and her brother, Edward.

Isabel is survived by her four children; Brenda (Ron), Patti (Casey), Brent (Erin), and Darren (Maureen); her beloved grandchildren; Tyler (Jerianne), Marlise (Kyle), Patrick, Caitlin, Brittany (John), Justin, Clive and Winston; and sister Pat Hoover of Saskatoon.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Skypointe retirement home for their understanding and compassionate care.

Isabel’s life will be celebrated with family at a later date.
