Mom (Grandma) these pictures are moments in time that depict your fun, adventurous spirit! The sledding one from Stewart, B.C. from the 1970s is classic! You were always up for fun and adventure even if sometimes it scared you like the river rafting trip on the Kicking Horse River (your only job was to hang on and you not only did that, you conquered a fear!). You hated going under water yet you let your kids chase you down water slides time and time again shrieking in both laughter and fear (we always made sure you’d be ok as you hit the pool). Skiing brought you joy and there were many ski days spent with Steve and your kids in Jasper and Banff. You hated spiders but that didn’t stop you from going camping in tents both with your family and on solo trips with your fur kids (dogs). You golfed, you hiked, you travelled both within Canada and to other countries (more pictures and memories to be posted about those adventures like when you and Carolyn came to England to see Kathy, David, and Chris who were living there in the 1990s). These pictures are only a few of many. Your adventurous spirit lives on through your children and grand children - what an amazing thing to pass onto us! We will treasure the memories of all our adventures with you forever and as we reflect, it will bring us comfort and warm our broken hearts. Thank you for always being up for an adventure! We love you! Xoxo
