My heart has been broken since hearing this sad news about Samuel’s passing. I remember his gratitude and kind spirit. He was so happy my husband Chuck took him and Samantha to the SPCA in Fort Mcmurray. It was a special event for them all. I remember he was raising money for hockey and was under the impression I had lots of money so I could donate alot hahah. His perception although innocent was very wrong. But he was very appreciative and shared his gratitude always! He was a special kid and from the responses I’ve seen a very well loved and admired young man.

I am so deeply sorry for the family’s loss, and I am praying for the Holy Spirit to provide peace that surpasses understanding during your immense grief. May the Lord be your strength and comfort. Love Nadine, Chuck, Ezra and girls. xxoo

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Sam. No words can truly ease the pain of such a loss, but please know that my heart goes out to you during this incredibly difficult time. My son has known him since grade 4 and often speaks so highly of him, cherishing the many wonderful memories they shared together. From what I’ve heard, Sam was a great friend, always full of life and with such a positive spirit. His memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

I had the privilege of mentoring Sam as pursued becoming a coach. As a teacher, I work with many young people, but Sam truly stood out. He was hardworking, driven, and incredibly humble. His love for the ice and the joy he found in teaching kids was inspiring. Sam had a bright future ahead of him, and he approached it with such enthusiasm and determination. It was an absolute pleasure to know someone so genuine. My heartfelt condolences go out to all who knew and loved him. Send all my prayers. May the lord bring you comfort in this difficult time.
