It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife, sister, aunty, cousin and friend.
Carly is survived by her beloved husband, Wacy Big Snake, brothers, Kirby, Cody, Craig, and Melvin Jr.; her close cousins/sisters Karolynn and Virginia; her aunties and uncles, Patsy (Shaun), Andy (Lorraine), Sandy, Lily (Guy), Ricky, Rocky, Sheryl (Rod), Jan (Weya), Chelaine, Ashley, Bob (Heather), and Dana; grandmother Carol, and her numerous relatives and dear friends, too many to name.
Carly was born on August 30, 1986, and grew up on the Tsuut’ina Nation. Carly met her beloved husband, Wacy Big Snake in November 2021 through mutual friends, developing a bond right away. She also loved her animals and always had pets throughout her life. She leaves behind her beloved dogs Auxly and Hailey, who she loved dearly and all her pets she has had over the years.
Carly was a very beloved friend to so many and made many friends throughout her life. She developed very close friendships with her childhood friends/sisters Ngatai, Kayla, Krissy and her close friend Tyson, who had lived with her. She is deeply loved and will be missed.
Carly was predeceased by her beloved dad, Melvin Sr., mom, Carmen Onespot, grandfather Bob, grandmother Virginia Ann, grandparents, Arthur and Lottie; great-grandparents, Gus and Millie; uncles, John, Ronnie, Tim, Todd, Eli, Shawn, Timmy, and Barry; aunties, Roberta and Char; and many other family members.
Wake Services will be held at the residence of the late Carly Onespot (3670 - 146th Avenue, SW, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Bullhead Community Hall (114 Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina, AB) on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Traditional Feast to follow at Bullhead Community Hall.
