Obituary of Shaun Joseph Quirk

It is with sadness that we announce that Shaun Joseph Quirk passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Calgary, AB.
Born on March 11, 1962, in Lethbridge, AB, Shaun was the son of the late John William and Jean Thema (nee MacDougall) Quirk. The Quirk family moved from Lethbridge to Antigonish, NS, in the mid-1960s.
After graduating from Antigonish Regional High School, Shaun attended Saint Francis Xavier University. In his twenties, Shaun moved to Alberta where he was employed as a seismic worker. Shaun spent the rest of his life in Alberta.
Shaun was extremely resourceful, independent, and found a way to make the best of all situations he encountered throughout his life. He had a quiet, kind nature. Naturally athletic, Shaun excelled on the golf course and at road hockey. He was also an avid reader, a clear thinker and an enthusiastic sports fan.
Shaun is survived by his sister Clare Ann (Paul), his brother Patrick (Barbara), his nieces; Jill (Owen), Bridget, Norah, Abigail, Clare, Rebecca and Mary, and his great-niece Ailey Jean.
