Obituary of Loretta Marlene Williams

October 4, 1932 – Bentley, Alberta

November 30, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

With deepest sadness and broken hearts, we share with you the passing of our loving mom, Loretta Marlene Williams (Fox).  She passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024; after a continuous struggle with dementia for ten years, she is now at peace.

Mom was born October 4, 1932, in Bentley, AB, to Peter Robert and Mabel Elizabeth Fox. After a few years of farming, the family moved to Calgary, AB, where she lived for the rest of her years.

Mom’s passion in life was for her children and grandchildren.

She worked for many years in the fashion and jewelry industry. She had a real flair for fashion and enjoyed the wonderful people she met along the way.

Besides her loving husband, Bob, Loretta is survived by her daughter, Karen (Brad); daughter-in-law, Marlene (Garry); son, Dale (Linda); daughter, Shawna (Paul); her grandchildren, Diane (Terry), Allie (Jeff), Jenelle (Brent), Peter (Michelle), Josh, Jessica (Dave), Jarrett (Steph) and Joel; and her great-grandchildren, Brandon (Archana) Breanna (Daniel), Kassi (Sophie), Chelsea, Grayson, Avery, Olivia, Ryan and Aoife.

Mom was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mabel Fox; her first husband, Jack Jones; her brother, Del Fox; and her son, Garry Williams; as well as many other friends and family.

A celebration of life is to be held at a later time.
